I was enlightened about Self Management. I already believed in the benefits of greater employee engagement. I am now racking my brain on how to integrate some of the concepts presented at my work place.

I am really grateful that I was given the opportunity to participate in this symposium. I feel it has made me a better leader and will have a ripple effect in my future endeavors.
Great experience, I'm proud to be part of this group of professionals.

Sunday, June 2 – Tuesday, June 4
The annual Self-Management Institute Symposium is a collaboration opportunity for those who are committed to developing, refining and implementing superior principles and systems of organizing people.
What You Should Expect of the Symposium
Speakers will be entrepreneurs and researchers sharing their ideas, insights, experiences and challenges related to creating more efficient and effective organizations. Each presentation will be followed by a half-hour discussion section. Most of Tuesday will be an open format, during which attendees set the schedule and convene sessions based on their interest and expertise.
The Symposium is intended to be interactive. The goal is not merely to hear presenters discuss topics that are of shared interest, but to use this event as a springboard for change within our respective organizations, and without. The Mission of the Symposium is to make real and practical advances in building the most efficient and effective organizations. If you are new to the Self-Management concept and are primarily looking for information on the systems and tools developed by The Morning Star Company to support Self-Management, please consider attending our Applied Self-Management seminar. Visit the Eventbrite page for Applied Self-Management to learn more and register.
What the Symposium Expects of You
We are interested in hearing from you. To this end, each of our practitioner organizations will be creating a case study on their respective organizations for presentation at the Symposium. The case studies will be mailed out to all attendees approximately two weeks prior to the event, so that attendees can propose solutions to the challenges that each organization faces during a discussion section following each presentation.
We ask that anyone who applies to present at the Symposium commmits to attend all sessions so that we can make the most of the discussion times in our schedule.
Our presentation slots are now full, and the event is sold out. If you would like to be notified of any cancellations, visit http://www.eventbrite.com/event/5323773550 to join the wait list.
Please be aware that during the course of the event, your image may be captured in the form of photos and/or videos, which The Self-Management Institute may publish on DVDs we produce, on this website or in our print publications.
